Wonderful Waves – A Poem

A sunset on the beach.

Waves are breaths. In and out. In and out.
Waves are waterfalls. Start and stop. Start and stop.
Waves are thunderstorms. Crash and rumble. Crash and rumble.
Waves are lullabies. Lu and le. Lu and le.
Waves are spiders that can never get on shore. Every time they skitter forward, they are sucked back.
Waves are wonderful.
